did you know more than 652,308 students of all ages were served last year through jazz at lincoln center's jazz education programs?
Developed under the guiding vision of Managing and Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis, these programs drive our organization's efforts to advance the appreciation, understanding, and performance of jazz. We offer a continuum of jazz education programs that are designed to suit the varied interests and capabilities of children, teens, and adults. Students learn about the distinctly American heritage and history of jazz as well as its greatest musicians and compositions.
Discover new masterpieces and hear the classics in an entirely new light as Swing University instructors guide you through jazz's storied past.
Swing University offers students of all ages a chance to learn about jazz, deepen their knowledge of the art form, and listen to some of the greatest music ever put to record.
